Lexmark & IBM Printer Error Codes - What They Mean & How to Fix the Printer Errors
There are a whole range of Lexmark and IBM printer error codes. If it is difficult to diagnose you, which is that, then here is a primer to help you!
Error code 22: Out of paper
This could be either a paper jam or a shortage of paper in your IBM and Lexmark printers. Make sure enough paper loaded in the tray and also check whether any sediment collected on the path of paper are. Check whether the sensor flag for input is broken or not, andalso ensure the system boards and cable 2 is not defective.
Error code 31: Paper change needed
This means that Lexmark and IBM printer on different paper size configuration from what is needed in the software. Be sure to change the paper settings to adjust the size. Also check the printer software setup for each issue and the system board for its own negligence.
Error codes 41 and 43: Font-related
These error codes usually indicate that requires the particular fontis not in the Lexmark and IBM. This font may signal a defective card or a fault within the system board. It could also mean that the font card was removed while the device was turned on. If the font map is broken be sure to get a new one.
Error code 54: serial error
This error indicates that the various settings for the serial configuration between your computer and the printer. Make sure that the data cable, I / O cable and system boardnot damaged or improperly connected.
Error code 89: Overloaded output tray
This error code means that the output is completely full. Make sure you remove the paper from the output tray. You must also check the functioning of the respective flags. You can also try replacing the photo-sensor for the card.
Error code 9920: Fuser not as per temperature
For this error you need to have the resistance on the fuser and the thermal fuse, lamp, and monitoring ofThermistor. It could also be a problem with low voltage. Check whether there is a continuity in the cable 1 of the system as well as within the power cable to the fuser.
Error code 970: unauthorized switching of the fan
This means that the fan is inside the Lexmark and IBM printer is not turned on. You could try to use the new cable, between the motherboard and the fan. Try also resetting the printer.
Error code 24: Incorrect manual feed
This error code may comedue to a variety of reasons. If you try the paper into the manual feed tray at the same time the printer is taking off paper from the tray, then the error occurs can be made. Make sure you do not get down on paper, to explicitly in the manual feed, and unless it was demanded.
