Verizon Jumping the Netbook Bandwagon - What Does This Mean?
Since Verizon announced recently at the HP subsidize netbooks. These were quite Stir netbook fans. Why? It is expected to increase the fan base of the mini-laptops.
Verizon is first with the HP Mini netbook 115NR, which has wireless broadband capability. The price for a unit is expected to cost no more than $ 200. But of course, buy the HP Mini 115NR at this price, you must register for a two-year –To plan service contract with a 3G data. Potential customers could be asked whether the reduced price of the mini-laptop is worth the total contract price.
Netbooks typically cost from $ 300 to $ 600, while the service plans cost $ 40 to $ 60 per month. That puts the cost of the entire package at $ 960 and $ 1440th If you want to have only a netbook and does not require a service offering, you might want to just wait and save up a bit instead of dipping into a contract with Verizon or any otherService provider.
