What’s Next For Wireless Technology?
Wireless networks, whether at home or in office have offered us the mobility. No longer do you need to be tied to your desk, for lack of non find more network cable or a patch panel to your Ethernet cable with plug. As I am sure you are aware, the majority of laptops today come with built-in wireless cards. Although this was not always a standard, and really only begun to hit the market by 2002, it has become one, that built-in standard that we expect all of us.
We now seein the application of this standard in more and more everyday items such as your phone can even come with WiFi built-in. We have seen the likes of Apple introduced the iPhone, which offers WiFi access and provides a user-friendly touch-screen Internet access, easy to use and very easy to use. Many other manufacturers have followed suit, including Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.
Game consoles are another area which we see WiFi implemented. The Nintendo Wii can receive updates, via a Wi-FiNetwork, if you have a home in yours. Some of the leaders that we see on the Xbox and PlayStation, are now also using this technology. There are other technologies that begin, for example, Blu-ray players will begin to build Wi-Fi access, which will allow it to receive firmware updates and also the possibility to transfer the signal to your WiFi-enabled TV set . But the fastest growing segments for Wi-Fi equipment, of course, cell phones, as this is the biggest growth area we should begin to appear in most of these phones even lower end phones in the next few years to see. Although Bluetooth is a wireless technology on mobile phones found it has limited them in the work is compared to over WiFi.
